September.

Today feels like fall. And when I got home my wonderful husband had broken out our Spiced Pumpkin Candle and the smells of fall were wafting through our little apartment.

We took a walk tonight in the crisp air and watched the sunset, and Luke patiently let me play with my camera and work on exposure. He's wonderful.

(He thinks he looks like a goat in this picture. I think he looks cute. He just told me that cute and like a goat are not at odds, but rather the same thing.)

Below (and above, I guess) are some of my favorite pictures from the evening.

Not only does Luke light my favorite candle and patiently let me practice my picture taking(which often includes taking pictures of him...), he does the laundry, too!
(Apparently he needs the goggles because water and soap are involved and can splash into your face...)
Yes, I have a good husband. And it was a beautiful day. And life doesn't get much better. Happy September, everyone!

I am cracking up! Luke used to wear goggles to spread mulch when he was a little boy, he sure is fragile. We are excited to see you Friday! Mom T.
