It's cold outside. Really cold. The high was supposed to be 20 today, but neither Luke nor I saw the temperature get above 17. But it was sunny and clear, and so being outside wasn't too bad. However, the freezing cold weather kind of kills the hope of a hike tomorrow morning/afternoon. Oh well. Maybe we'll explore a museum tomorrow instead. (Before Amanda and Liz come...HOORAY!).
Tonight, after adventuring outside to get Domino's Pizza (for the first time in forever!), we are sitting inside and listening to Wait Wait Don't Tell Me CD's from Dad T. Pretty funny stuff.
So, after just 8 days I managed to forget to take a picture at 5:30 OR 6:15, therefore, my picture project is now exactly like Abby's 366 Project from last year. As goes the saying: "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery."
Without further adieu, here are this week's photos.

January 9, 2009: Luke makes Otto an official DC Resident! No more parking tickets for us!
January 10, 2009: Movie night with the Wednesday night dinner group. Watching The Visitor for the second time in two weeks. But the most exciting part of this photo is definitely sister Christie, who joined us!
January 11, 2009: After a busy day of church, marriage seminars and watching our Heels lose (BOO) Luke checks his email before going to bed. (Really, I forgot to take a picture this day until night...fail again).
January 12, 2009: Our Shutterfly photobook came on Monday! You should all come to Washington, DC so you can see it and sign the "Guest Book Pages" we put in (I guess Amanda and Liz get to be first)!
January 13, 2009: We're so cultured. This was a night for reading books.
January 14, 2009: Luke brought me some beautiful flowers. And here they are.
January 15, 2009: It didn't go above 27 degrees. And I thought that was cold, until today when it didn't get above 17! As you can see, our usually buzzing neighborhood is
very quiet when the weather gets cold.
January 16, 2009: After turning in my resume downtown I saw Barack Obama and Joe Biden standing in this store window! I liked their special Inauguration headbands, so I took a picture. Hooray for Inauguration festivities!
