(72) my family's little puppy teddy. he's cute and snuggly and he makes me happy (even just thinking about him).
(73) my mom's christmas decorations. always beautiful, and they look like a perfect picture out of a magazine, but cozy all at the same time.
(74) tanglewood festival of lights. usually luke and i do this over thanksgiving, but instead, this year, i went with my mom, dad, jenny and kyle. i look forward to this every year. making it even better, we got chick-fil-a on the way.
(75) old friends. and white elephant gifts that are cheap-to-free. and taking silly pictures.(76) peaceful moments. with hilarious things in the background. i crack up every time i see this photo. my husband is weird. funny, but weird.
(77) big smiles. and sisters who cheese for photos (this is a very rare moment...)
(78) my family. and sitting around the table with them for christmas dinner. not everyone was super excited about getting their picture taken, but all of them agreed to smile into the light for a second...and i think the picture turned out pretty well.
(79) my dad. for many reasons, one of them being how he claims he doesn't love teddy as much as the rest of us, but how you know he does because teddy follows him around (i'm sure it had nothing to do with the big plate of ham my dad is carrying...)
(80) the candlelight christmas eve service. it is so joyful and peaceful and wonderful. (82) finding a gift that brings a smile or a laugh. my sisters and i get really excited about shopping for each other and finding good gifts. this year was a success. this is christie reading elephant, elephant and jenny laughing. i know that i have a lot of pictures of jenny and christie and not katie. i do have three wonderful sisters, though. katie is just better at avoiding the camera...
that's it for the piedmont edition. mountain edition to come. maybe today maybe tomorrow...
