Picture Project Post--February 16th through February 25th

February 16, 2009: The PERFECT parallel parking job after returning from the grocery store. I was pretty excited. I didn't even have to readjust! (Yes, I am bragging).

February 17, 2009
: Happy birthday Mom S.! And starting a new job. I think we look hip. Just like yuppies. Oh, mercy...not so sure that's a good thing...

February 18, 2009: Oh, old note card and marker friends, how I didn't miss you. Studying hard for the reliability test at my new job! I passed!

February 19, 2009: After the amazing guacamole at the Valentine's Day restaurant, I was inspired to make my own. This recipe was wayyy to salty, but the recipe I made later in the week was perfecto! =)

February 20, 2009: Cleaning around the house with frequent staring out the window breaks. During one break I saw this man, who looks like Morpheus and strangely disappeared into thin air (i.e. I ran to another window to take some more pictures, and in the meantime he disappeared from view...)

February 21, 2009: Out and about in Washington, DC with the "big Teaters" (as Luke decided to call them). We went to see The Capitol Steps...hilarious. Luke and Dad T. were making Kevin the center of attention (according to Luke). We got to talk to the cast of the show afterward. There was one sketch with Vladamir Putin in it and we told the guy we liked his Russian accent and his impersonation of Putin. The actor said that he has fun doing it but he hopes that Vladamir Putin never sees it. =)

February 22, 2009: Getting ready to head out in REALLY cold weather to get some YUMMY ice cream.

February 23, 2009:
The sunset was absolutely gorgeous. We get really pretty views from our windows.

February 24, 2009:
As seen from Metro on the way home from work. Yes, I broke out my camera on Metro. And got some pretty good "as seen from Metro" pictures, if I do say so myself.

February 25, 2009: Leaving The Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception after the Ash Wednesday service. It was quite beautiful. (If you haven't been able to tell, I really like sunsets...and my life isn't incredibly interesting, so they fill the daily requirement nicely...)
