It was an absolutely beautiful this weekend, and Luke and I took full advantage of it. It is supposed to be glorious the rest of the week, and on into the weekend. We're pretty excited about three pretty weekends in a row! Hurrah for February!
Here are this weeks pictures.

February 3, 2009: I finally put away our Christmas greenery and candles. It was a sad day. But I did fill this cute tea pot with dried flowers (the first flowers Luke every gave me). It was also snowing outside. But you can't really tell that.

February 4, 2009: Luke and I went out to celebrate my birthday and our 7th Month Anniversary. It was really fun to get dressed up. And it was a yummy dinner. We don't go out much. I wore my red dress. I liked both of these pictures, but didn't think it was fair for me to put an altered picture up for the picture of the day. Therefore, I put up both the original (above) and the altered (on the left).
February 5, 2009: Out and about volunteering when the wind chill was 1 degree. My face was really really red, the camera definitely did not capture it.

February 6, 2009:
Our new Friday night schedule. Grocery shopping at Aldi before dinner and a movie.

February 7, 2009: We were on our way to hike in Maryland when we passed a sign that said "Gettysburg 26" so we decided to go to Gettysburg instead. It was quite the adventure on a beautiful day. For more pictures you can click here.
February 8, 2009: We went to see Coraline 3D with some friends from church. It was worth the money (well, we used gift cards). I would recommend it. It's creepy, though. Don't take your kids. We snuck the 3D glasses out. Cause we're cool. Is "snuck" a word? It's not "sneaked" is it? Spell checker isn't recognizing snuck...
February 9, 2009: Babysitting again. Today the theme was puzzles, trucks and octopus stickers on shoes. I sat with Henry and Jane for literally 30 minutes drawing on a Magnadoodle. First it was "Draw a car", "Draw a truck", "Draw a fire truck". Then it was "Draw a car at a gas station", "Draw a truck at a gas station", "Draw a firetruck at a gas station". Then it was "Draw a car getting gas"...I think you get the point. This happened with every mode of transportation you could possibly think of.

As I said last week, and I will say again this week, I had a wonderful birthday. And it didn't end on February 1, it carried on into the next week. The cards from my sisters warmed my heart a lot (I love them!)
I love to journal. I don't know if I like to journal or if I just like buying cool journals. I love finishing a journal so I can get a new one. However, our current financial situation meant that I couldn't buy a new journal this time. Instead, I needed to finish an ugly journal I got a long, long time ago. One of my sister's wrapped her gift in this really cute wrapping paper. Little did she know that the paper would be just as amazing as the wonderful Norman Rockwell book she sent me. I enjoyed doing this a little bit too much. But I like the way it came out.
Here is my "new" journal:
Luke also surprised me with flowers yesterday. And it made me happy. I really love flowers. And they are really, really beautiful.
